This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Well as you can tell this is my first day on this site. I just made an account less than an hour ago. Though if anyone reads this post please help me with this site. And how things work around here. Thanks!
Thank you. Can I ask you a question... how come I didn't get like a notice that you commented on my page? And do people really buy other peoples art work?
Hmm, I'm not certain. Normally it will show up in your messages. People do buy artwork on deviantART via the shop. If you're interested in getting your artwork up for sale, you will need a Premium Print Account.
Okay... but I don't really want to buy art. I just want to know like if someone bought my art work (Don't know if they can) do I still have it in my uploaded pictures? And will people buying my art work mean that they did the art?
The only way for someone to purchase your artwork is for you to have a Premium Print Account. Your artwork is copied onto a poster, canvas, mug, etc. and someone buys it. Your art will remain yours and will continue to exist in your gallery.
